대규모 문화시설인 세종문화회관의 공간 구조와 이용 특성을 분석하여, 방문객의 동선 개선을 목표로 한 웨이파인딩 프로젝트를 진행했습니다. 다양한 목적을 가진 지하 방문객의 이동 흐름과 공간 이용 패턴을 면밀히 분석해, 기존 정보 구조를 체계적으로 재정비했습니다. 문화 공간이 지닌 품격과 정체성을 유지하면서도 누구나 직관적으로 인식할 수 있도록, 가독성과 시인성을 중심으로 한 디자인 전략을 적용하였습니다.
This wayfinding project was developed to improve visitor circulation within the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, a large-scale cultural complex with a highly layered spatial structure.
By closely analyzing visitor movement patterns and space usage across various programs and destinations, the existing information system was reorganized into a clearer and more intuitive hierarchy.
A design strategy was applied to ensure high readability and visibility while preserving the cultural character and architectural dignity of the venue.
Based on this approach, a consistent design guideline was established across both interior and exterior signage systems.
As a result, the project enhanced wayfinding clarity while elevating the overall spatial experience for visitors.
